This news came as a shock to many. The source of this speculation was absence of Ash from the ‘Happy New Year’ television commercial of L’Oreal. The commercial showed Freida Pinto along with some other international stars but Ash was not seen. So,media started guessing that Pinto being much younger than Ash, has replaced her as the brand ambassador.
The news was widely reported saying that Aishwarya is no more the face of thecosmetic brand. Now, L’Oreal has come up with a clarification on this saying that theIndian beauty still continues to be the company’s spokesperson and there is no truth in the news. It said that both the actresses Aishwarya and Frieda are their spokes models along with Sonam Kapoor.
L’Oréal Paris further termed Ash as the incarnation of Indian beauty and praised her supreme talent and exotic beauty. It also said that the actress is one of the most iconic actresses of her time and will always remain an integral part of the cosmeticcompany.
Well, it is better that the company has cleared the air or the gossip mills would have given rise to another drama in the industry!
