The treatment begins with an hour of relaxation in a Roman whirlpool hot tub, cold plunge, eucalyptus steam and redwood saunas, Japanese furo bath, three cascading waterfall massages, jet showers and a full-body exfoliation. Next, lucky couples will be escorted to one of the resort’s suites where they’ll be welcomed with a 30 minute foot soak, exfoliation, and massage.
Though the preparations sound like a spa dream on their own, it’s merely a warm up for the grand finale. The experience concludes with a team of 10 therapists – that’s 20 hands, or 100 fingers, for the record – simultaneously connecting hands and massaging your tired limbs from head to toe. Once the energy is centered, they begin the “hula wave” on the entire body as therapists walk around the guests massaging the two bodies in synchronized harmony.
