No Dus Ka Dum without Salman?

It seems that the television reality show Dus Ka Dum has lost it's charm for Salman Khan who seems to be more interested in doing the next season of Bigg Boss. The show has been shelved for the time being, reported Mumbai Mirror.

Reason? Apparently, after Salman refused to do the show, the channel decided on Sanjay Dutt as the next best option, although even that seems doubtful at the moment.

“After talks with Salman fell through, the channel had zeroed in on Sanjay Dutt as Salman's replacement. But it was later decided that Salman would be more appropriate. In the meanwhile, Salman committed himself to the next season of Bigg Boss. They've now decided to shelve plans for the next season of Dus Ka Dum, a source told the tabloid.

Salman had earlier said he loved the show as he could be himself on it. Well, perhaps there was some love lost there.

Ajit Thakur of Sony had earlier told Hindustan Times that Salman had great brand value and had been a phenomenal star host and that they couldn’t think of Dus Ka Dumwithout him.

Well, they'll probably have to rethink on that. In the meanwhile, the channel is reportedly focusing on two other shows Kaun Banega Crorepati and X Factor which will probably be judged by Rishi Kapoor.
